Yes — the starting rate for each vehicle class is the minimum. Very short rides (under a mile) are still priced at the vehicle's starting rate because the driver has still committed to the full pickup window.
No. Unlike rideshares, we don't use surge or demand pricing. A 2 AM dialysis pickup costs the same as 2 PM.
Pass-through at actual cost and shown as a separate line on your quote. We don't mark them up.
An authorization (not a charge) is placed at booking confirmation. The actual charge happens within 24 hours of ride completion, based on the confirmed final total. If the ride runs shorter than quoted, we adjust down.
Cancellations more than 4 hours before the scheduled pickup are free. Within 4 hours, a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the ride applies. No-shows are billed in full. Medical emergencies (new hospitalization, for example) are reviewed case-by-case and typically waived.
For stretcher and multi-thousand-dollar interstate transfers, we accept a 50/50 split — half at confirmation, half at completion. Contact dispatch to arrange.
